So far so good. I know can listen to TV without it being on 99. Even then it was distorted. Just bad speakers on my Insignia. I used the cord for the AUX, so hookup took no time at all. I still have my tv on 100 but use the volume for the soundbar which is at half or around level 30 ish. No way to check, but having my tv at max allows the sound bar to go higher if I need it. I can hear the voices nice and clear now, so for me it’s worth every penny. I took a chance at it being so inexpensive, and lucked out. I may add one.

It does turn it self off after awhile with no activity. But just a press of the on button and it’s fine. I’ve had my tv off and it goes back to the same level once I turn the speaker back on. I have not used Bluetooth because I have loud laptop speakers I use for music. It is small enough it doesn’t look intrusive under my tv. The remote works great, and doesn’t need any special programming, just long press to turn it on and hit what ever function you need. In my case I use The on, then AUX button. And EQ for the different sounds. I use the third press, which is for movies. There is no screen that tells you which is which, either on the device or your tv. But it’s only three choices so… there’s that. I just turned it to a channel that has constant talking so I could find the best one for my ears.
